I was able to judge to an extent that it was an April Fool's day prank as I have not noticed Google advertising for any of their products . Any user will be able to notice the difference or a new product easily. That is probably the specialty of Google I guess . Anyways the prank was very convincing and moreover it would be even more a bigger issue regarding privacy if it comes true one day
